New Start Detox is a CARF accredited and licensed professional detox facility providing safety and comfort to clients detoxing from drugs and alcohol. New Start Detox’s services provide the beginning of a full body and mind cleansing that can help a person succeed in long term recovery.

Current Positions Available:



Case Manager

New Start Detox is hiring qualified substance abuse case managers for a Case Management position.  New Start Detox is seeking CAADE/CAADAC eligible or certified individuals to join an experienced and enthusiastic team.  Individual must have compassion and patience for working with clients suffering from drug/alcohol addictions and mental health disorders.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment for clients detoxifying from substance dependency
  • Possibly assisting with intake admissions and orienting the client to the detox environment
  • Providing groups to support client recovery
  • Assist with observing client administration of medication
  • Manage a small caseload
  • Maintain client’s file using an electronic health record system
  • Document progress notes, treatment planning, and discharge planning
  • Assist with overall client care during their stay with New Start Detox.

Requirements:

  • For those in recovery at least 2 years clean and sober
  • CPR/First Aid Certified (or will be within 30 days of hire)
  • Proactive and able to work with in a team setting
  • Willingness to learn and take direction

All shifts are available and competitive salaries available.

Support Staff
New Start Detox is hiring qualified substance abuse case managers for a Support Staff position. New Start Detox is seeking CAADE/CAADAC eligible or certified (or the equivalent) individuals to join an experienced and enthusiastic team. Individual must have compassion and patience for working with clients suffering from drug/alcohol addictions and mental health disorders.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment for clients detoxifying from substance dependency
  • Providing groups to support client recovery
  • Taking ½ vitals for the first 24 hours of a client’s stay
  • Conducting hourly observations on all clients
  • Assist with observing client administration of medication
  • Manage a small caseload
  • Maintain client’s file using an electronic health record system
  • Document progress notes, treatment planning, and discharge planning
  • Following direction from the primary staff during the shift
  • Assist with overall client care during their stay with New Start Detox.

Requirements:

  • For those in recovery at least 2 years clean and sober
  • CPR/First Aid Certified
  • Proactive and able to work with in a team setting
  • Willingness to learn and take direction

All shifts are available and competitive salaries available.
